This past week, I was finally able to hang out with fellow comic artist Peter Tarkulich, who does Bardsworth. We met at Connecticon, and while I had found out earlier that he lived close by to me, I was not aware of how close. When he came up to my table at Connecticon, we chatted for a while and I asked where around Rochester he lived.
It happened to be down the street from one of my closest friends, and less than TEN MINUTES from my house. Oddly enough, Ethan, my friend who lives very close to him, was standing at my table as well. It’s funny that I had to travel 6 hours to meet someone who lived ten minutes away. So we eventually made plans to go hang out at a coffee shop nearby and talk about comics and other geek related stuff. Like DragonLance.
This is when I found out he graduated from the SAME DAMN SCHOOL I DID. 2 years before my brother graduated.
Anyways, Pete is a really awesome guy, who runs a fun, family friendly comic about college…with magic, elves, and a demon who likes cookies! Check it out!
